Thinking theyre dying, they fully forgive each other.

They wake up the next morning and manage to limp back to civilization.
But as they near the houses, theyre confronted by George, who shoots Danny.
The season ends with Danny comatose in a hospital bed.
In the final shot, we see Dannys hand curl to hold her back.
